One can make a direct impact to fight climate change by choosing more plant based options β€” whether Whole Foods or Comfort Foods β€” just choose plant based. May sound silly but animal agriculture is highly destructive and wasteful; it is polluting and killing our planet. We need to stop ignoring the elephant in the room. πŸš¨πŸ†˜πŸ˜

The US Is moving backwards in climate protection. I appreciate your facts and figures. I will keep talking to family and friends armed with actual numbers.

The first of these two phrases contains an error, right?

"India has met its renewable energy targets five years early and now generates more than half its electricity from non-fossil sources.

It has also missed two deadlines to submit its updated 2035 climate targets and continues to rely on coal for roughly 75% of electricity generation."

Thank you! I missed that on the read through. I conflated two different metrics… installed capacity vs actual generation. India has met its target for renewable capacity (infrastructure built), but coal still provides 75% of actual electricity generated. Fixed now. Again, thanks for reading so carefully.

The reason I'm reading so carefully is because I admire your writing. It's often topic at our kitchen table. Happy to connect one day.
